This is the really cool part about being in the food business (haha..the only cool part). You get invited to all these awesome banquets and vendor shows. Anything you could imagine eating was at this show within fingers reach. We ate for 2 days straight and had such a nice time. Now my only problem is buttoning my pants :/ Here's some pictures from the performers the first night. Very impressive...however... I was so worried he'd catch on fire!
He'll kill me for for this because he hates pictures of himself but he never reads my blog anyways! So now you know how I ended up with a blonde-haired blue-eyed baby! This serious face is the one I get when he's tired of me taking pictures or usually when I'm getting in trouble.
I had lots of fun at Triad Mommies 3rd Birthday on Saturday. Its a local mommies group that I'm so proud to be a part of. It was also a charitable event which made it all the more special and they collected 100 coats for the needy. I was so glad I got to take pictures of the fun!Just look at these faces!Oh... how I wish I could upload them all :/ I wish blogger didn't take 5 minutes to upload 1 picture: Anyhoo..Here is a link to most of the pictures taken Saturday if you'd like to see more :)http://gs66.photobucket.com/groups/h258/9TYX8DX4MG/
So... I was getting all upset with myself because I love close up shots however, I always manage to chop and arm or top of the head. Its super hard not to do when kids are moving so fast! I was looking more closely at these photographers (whom I adore) and whose sessions children/family sessions start at 500.00 (yes I said start) and ( wow this is a long sentence) Anyways.. they chop off arms and fingers and hands and feet and top of heads and (you get the point) :lol:Anyways..now I don't feel so bad. The end. :)Oh wait!...not the end...So now I am inspired to show my favorite picture from yesterday with the infamous arm/head chop, accidental flash fire *Guh!* but I cant resist b/c this face made me melt.
This little mama was not a happy camper today. She just didn't want any part of getting her picture taken. It wasn't a total loss b/c I managed to get few shots and had a fun walk, chat, photography lesson with her mommy.
I have received quite a few requests for my rates. I am still learning...so my rate is still to be determined. I want to make sure I'm pricing my talent and time correctly. I also want to provide a a affordable and quality product. So, It is not easy to come up with a figure. I am finalizing my licensing so once that is complete, I will be able to provide my rates. I promise folks... it wont be much longer :)
I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Mrs. Angela and boy was it fun. As you can see she is Cinderella, Snow white and Ariel. She is starting a new business where she attends birthday parties or any party for that matter! She also sings beautifully! It was amazing to see how she lit up the children's faces at the gardens today. We ran into a little girl and she got to meet "Snow White". Then, after a costume change a little girl saw "Ariel" and said " Hey! I just saw snow white!" Too cute!
I have so many favorites its hard to post only a few pictures. They are such a good looking, sophisticated, yet playful family. It truly was a breeze to photograph them. I just wanted to take baby "G" home with me! He kept saying "truck", "cheese", "string cheese" and "Co-fee" ( my name in baby talk). He was so handsome all dressed up like a big boy and even gave me with his "reserved look". It was such a pleasure and I enjoyed every minute.
